Finally in Germany!!!!

I know I have been missing for a while, but let me tell you that moving to another country takes a lot of preparation. Between making sure we had a new place to stay, finding a moving company that ships at a good price overseas, getting all the stuff ready to move, renewing my passport, and getting all other documents sorted out.... uff I believe it's understandable why writing hasn't been a priority. Anyway, I said my goodbyes (for now) to Toronto, and embarked on a new journey to Germany! 
On a more positive note, I am now finally settling down at my new place in Germany, and I'm excited to share with you guys a lot more interesting things. Fall is also coming very soon, which means... Fashion Week will be back once again!!!

Soundtrack of the Day- Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall by Coldplay

I must confess I have a thing for British bands... but my love affair with Coldplay started ages ago since 1999 (in all fairness I was 12 years old then, and I know they existed as a band under a different name before that). 
Anyway, today is the beginning of another weekend, it's summer time, the day is bright, sunny and warm. Days like these call for a positive upbeat song that just makes you see every color a bit brighter than it might appear. Music influences the way I feel quite often, so by making a pleasant memory with a particular song, it enables me to recreate that same feeling even during a cloudy, stormy, and rainy day. 
When I heard this song for the first time, automatically I started thinking about a lively city, where people just went about their business with a full smile on their faces. Perhaps that thought it's far fetched from our daily reality, but since you can't control how others feel, your best bet is to control your own attitude and just carry on through the day as if "Every siren is a symphony/ And every tear's a waterfall". 
Enjoy your weekend, and keep up the feel good nature of summer.

Keep on moving on

Where to start… I am a 24 year old with big dreams. I’ve been jumping from place to place ever since I can remember, until I finally settled in Miami Beach for around 10yrs before making a drastic move to Montreal, Canada. Didn’t last long, and eight months later I was moving once again this time to the city of Toronto. Here I worked for a while as a booker/agent at a boutique modeling agency, and things came to a halt when I found out I was pregnant the day after my 24^th birthday.

I must admit I entered a state of trance as I slowly witnessed my “Big Dreams” being shattered piece by piece. One morning I woke up (feeling like crap, very typical during the first trimester), and I thought to myself “When will I stop being sick?”. Sick? I wasn’t sick, I wasn’t dying, I was only pregnant, and that shouldn’t mean it was the end of the road for me; I simply had to take a detour and walk a different route.

After much deliberation, my partner and I decided that we would move to Europe and have the baby there. Once again, I find myself getting things ready for another big move… I must say that some people now regard me as a nomad, but I am up for the challenge especially if it’ll be beneficial for the baby, my partner and hopefully I.

So here I am… I have decided to dedicate this blog to everyone who still have big dreams, and no matter how difficult circumstances get along the way- they never give up. I’m looking forward to sharing some of my life experiences, music and style tips and preferences.
